Poppy Paws Adventures is a locally owned small business proudly owned by Lexington native Bianca. Bianca is a dedicated and passionate pet sitter and dog walker who loves caring for pets as if they were their own. With years of experience providing personalized care, Bianca ensures each pet receives the attention, exercise, and companionship needed to stay happy and healthy. Whether it’s a leisurely walk around the neighborhood for your dog, high-energy playtime, or cuddles during a sitting session. One of the best parts is it’s not just dogs. Poppy Paws has had the pleasure of working with a variety of animals including: cattle, horses, alpacas, llamas, ducks, chickens, peacocks, donkeys, rabbits and more! Bianca tailors her approach to fit each pet’s unique personality and needs. Committed to reliability, safety, and building trust with both pets and their owners, we strive to make every interaction a positive and stress-free experience. We also realize each pet has their own personality and are experienced with reactivity and quirks. Working as an assistant dog trainer, Bianca is continuously learning how to make each experience better. Never worry about who is coming into your home or where your dog is staying- know that you will receive detailed updates for each visit covering activity, health, and of course a photo!

Meet the Owner
My name is Bianca, Sasha, and I own Poppy Paws Adventures! I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve had dogs and cats from bottle feeding newborns to senior years and was always the go to for family and friend’s animals- dogs, cats, reptiles, livestock, even catching feral barn cats or runaway horses! Growing up on a cattle farm and being able to volunteer at the wildlife center opened up a whole new world of passion for animals.
I took a detour getting a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and spending 11 years in the military, but my love for animals has never wavered. I’m thankful that as that chapter of my life comes to a close I am able to pursue what is really important to me- taking care of your best friends & keeping them safe.
I first started my business as a side job in 2020, but have officially been able to switch over to a full time position. I traveled a lot in the military and am so particular about my personal animals that it's hard to trust anyone to watch them. So I wanted to provide that reassurance to other pet parents. This journey has been amazing and I strive to provide the best care not only meeting your goals, but allowing the pets to enjoy their one-on-one undivided attention-every moment truly counts with them. I never stop wanting to learn how to make each visit better than the last, continuing education on dog training and animal welfare as the world of animals grows and changes everyday. I’ve always been drawn to those misunderstood and love getting to build a bond with reactive or timid animals so please don't hesitate if they have these tendencies. In home pet sitting whether mine or yours allows them to be comfortable, safe and free of the kennel stress. Thank you, truly, for letting me be a part of their life. ♥︎
